A 40-year-old resident of Samaria who trafficked and hunted deer was sentenced to five months of jail time and 10 months of suspended imprisonment in addition to having to pay a fine of NIS 5,000.
According to the Nature and Parks Authority, during a search of the man's home, four month-old fawns and leg traps were found, which he apparently used to hunt and trade more than 25 deer.
