MK Yitzhak Kroizer (Otzma Yehudit) sent an urgent letter to the chairman of Israel's football league demanding to cancel the punishment imposed on Beitar Jerusalem, according to which the team will not play next season in Europe.
In a letter sent to the chairman, Kroizer wrote: "I ask for your quick intervention to do as much as you can in order to cancel the punishment handed down to Beitar Jerusalem barring them from the games in Europe."
"I saw and was ashamed when the president of the country was forced to leave the stadium, this is an act that is inappropriate and should be publicly denounced. Beitar Jerusalem received a penalty and a reduction of points as required and as expected from such a serious offense. The team has already been punished as usual and there is no room for further punishment."
