Deputy Mayor of Jerusalem Hagit Moshe commented on the intention of the Brothers in Arms protest group to demonstrate at the Western Wall.
Moshe said: "There are enough streets in Jerusalem that you can protest on, any attempt to drag the holiest place for the Jewish people to be part of the political controversy is delusional, inappropriate and above all insulting to the protestors themselves. I call on the protest organizations to 'liberate the Western Wall ' from protests, otherwise you will lose all public legitimacy to continue to express your democratic opinion."
