The governor of the Bank of Israel announced the appointment of Danny Hahiashvili as chief auditor of banks.
Hahiashvili said after his appointment: "I intend to contribute to the best of my ability and my experience to the benefit of the public in Israel and to the continued development and stability of the banking system, to strengthening the well-being and trust of customers and increasing its competitiveness."
