The commander of the 80th division, Lt. Col. Itzik Cohen, held an investigation in the Israel-Egypt border area together with representatives from the Egyptian Ministry of Defense.
"The IDF is working in full and close cooperation with Egypt in order to find out the circumstances of the incident and draw lessons. The coordination with the representatives of the Egyptian army is led by the head of the Tel Aviv Brigade," the IDF spokesperson said.
