After the tie in the poll last week, a gap in mandates between the National Union and Likud has opened up again according to the "Ma'ariv-Sof shavua" survey conducted by the director of the Panels Politics Institute, Dr. Menachem Lazar.

The distribution of seats in the survey is as follows: National Unity - 29; Likud - 26; Yesh Atid - 18; Shas - 9: United Torah Judaism - 7; Hadash-Ta'al - 6; Religious Zionism - 6, Yisrael Beytenu - 6, Ra'am - 5, Otzma Yehudit - 4, Meretz - 4. Labor and Balad would not pass the voting threshold.

The survey also examined the public's position regarding their preference with regards to the prime minister, and the trend remains stable, with Benny Gantz leading the way again with 43%, as compared to 39% who believe Netanyahu is more suitable for the role.
