Israel's environmental performance report shows that the country is not meeting the goals it has set for itself.
The OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development) said it recommends the promotion of a climate law with binding targets for reducing greenhouse gases and renewable energy, a carbon tax, the elimination of excise tax discounts on diesel, the elimination of subsidies for natural gas producers, and other measures.
