The American administration plans to invite President Herzog to visit the White House this summer, possibly ahead of a similar trip by Prime Minister Netanyahu. This was reported on Galei Tzahal based on sources familiar with the situation.
In principle, Herzog was invited a number of months ago by the House of Representatives to give a speech marking Israel's 75th anniversary in Congress.
During the planned visit, he will meet with President Biden at the White House.
