National Unity leader MK Benny Gantz criticized the proposed budget: "In one of the most difficult economic times, when the cost of living is going up, when hundreds of thousands of citizens are struggling to meet their mortgage repayments, when a shopping basket of basic goods increases by dozens of percent in price, Netanyahu and his evil government intend to pass a bad budget that shuts down the engines of growth and seriously harms the Israeli economy," Gantz said. "A moment before that, I am turning to the members of the coalition - you know the truth. Do not lend your support to the destruction of the Israeli economy."
