A group of educational institutions expressed concern about the future of dozens of institutions that were promised budgets by the coalition members, but so far have not been transferred any funds.
Ariel Popovitz, a spokesperson for the group, commented: "Just before the passing of the budget, we came to the Knesset to try to save the independent schools of the religious community. We left no less worried than we came. Our institutions are on the verge of collapse. We still believe in and expect the elected officials not to let us down, to take care of the institutions and learning of the Torah, which deserve no less than anyone else."
