Otzma Yehudit officials criticized Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich this evening over the state budget and said "Bezalel forgot that he is Finance Minister thanks to the people of the Negev and the Galilee. Without them, he would be Education Minister today."
They also say that the Otzma Yehudit faction has not yet decided what it will do in the vote on the budget in the Knesset: "The party will meet on Tuesday and make a decision."
"The party is determined to keep the promise to the voters, the residents of the Negev and the Galilee, for the development of these areas and new and tremendous programs for the benefit of the residents. There are also voters in Netivot, Ofakim, Sderot, and Tiberias. We must not forget them and it is sad that Bezalel forgets those residents of the periphery."
