Along with Jordan and the United Arab Emirates, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned what it defines as "the assault by members of settler groups on Al-Aqsa Mosque in combination with the Flag March and the provocative actions that hurt the feelings of the Palestinian people."
"This is an irresponsible escalation that increases tensions on the ground," the Egyptian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
