Dozens of Shoham residents are demonstrating this evening (Wednesday) in Safra Square in the city and expressing support for the legal reform. The demonstrators are carrying Israeli flags and banners "The people chose legal reform" and "Enough with the tyranny of the minority".
Knesset member Hanoch Milvidsky (Likud) is participating in the demonstration. The ad for the demonstration reads "In Shoham, they speak facts and not slogans - they say yes to legal reform. For the sake of a Jewish and democratic Israel, everyone needs to come in a demonstration of support."
Nurit Dadon, a resident of Shoham, said: "We came out today, with a positive attitude, out of concern for the people, the country, and society to support the legal reform. Many people came, all with a positive attitude, out of love for Israel. The reform must pass, the people of Israel voted a few months ago and chose reform. Legally, it is good that there are negotiations, it is good that it will pass in a positive atmosphere, but the reform must pass."
