MK Gadi Eisenkot (National Unity) attacked the coalition following the overthrow of the "mandatory service for all" law, saying it is "a sign of moral disgrace. The government once again chose to strengthen the coalition instead of strengthening security and solidarity in Israeli society."

"Even in the budget, we witness a government that sees its own good and not the good of the state, that serves itself, and these days distributes coalition funds in a corrupt manner. In a healthy society with a proper order of priorities, they would triple the budget for scholarships for higher education for released soldiers instead of regarding the budget as coalition spoils."
