US State Department: 'Both sides must avoid increasing tensions'

A spokesman for the American State Department, who was asked about the IDF's activity in Gaza and the shooting by the terrorist organizations, replied: "We continue to call on both sides to take sides that will not increase tensions and increase violence, as well as measures to protect civilians."
