In light of the continuation of Operation Shield and Arrow, the Minister of Finance, Bezalel Smotrich, and the Director of the Tax Authority, Eran Ya'akov, agreed on giving all businesses an extension until Tuesday, May 23, 2023 to report and pay VAT for the reporting period of March and April 2023.
The extension applies to all those who are reporting for the month of May. The decision to extend is intended to help and facilitate the business sector, with an emphasis on small businesses, in dealing with the effects of the security situation.
