According to a report on Kan News, Operation Shield and Arrow was originally planned to commence at the end of last week.
Kan News adds that last night, the Prime Minister's Office distributed documentation from Shin Bet headquarters from last Friday, in which the Prime Minister and Defense Minister can be seen authorizing the operation plans. Apparently, the operation was postponed until last night due to weather conditions.
