Israel's ambassador to the United Nations, Gilad Erdan, has welcomed the elimination of senior Islamic Jihad operatives last night in Gaza.
"This was a significant night in our war against terrorism, one that delivered a clear message: We will settle accounts with every terrorist who is a ticking bomb and seeks to harm Israeli citizens. I will be requesting of the United Nations and the international community that they support the right of Israel to protect herself whenever her citizens are under attack by murderous terrorist organizations."
