MK Avraham Bezalel (Shas) has been working to encourage Yeshivas to sever contracts with the Angel bakery company, after senior executive and former Minister Omer Barlev joined a protest in front of the home of a Hassidic leader.
"The attempt to incite against the haredi public will no longer pass in silence. The idea of inciting blasphemy and spitting on the haredi public without consequences is over. The yeshivas are responding one by one. We are united, Ashkenazic and Sephardic and Lithuanian Hassidic groups, and we will continue the boycott together until Omer Barlev is fired," MK Bezalel commented.
