The attorney general commented on the comptroller's report that highlighted deficiencies in the functioning of the Ministry of Defense and said that she welcomes the audit, will study it and work towards its implementation.

The comptroller's office stated that even before the final report was published, she instructed the director of the advisory and legislative system and the deputy advisor, Sharon Apek, to conduct an examination of certain aspects of the work of the attorney general's office. The deputy attorney general will lead a team whose purpose is to examine issues that came up as part of the recommendations in the report, as well as other issues that will be agreed upon between them.
