Education Minister Yoav Kisch criticized the teachers' union's decision to shut down classes in grades 10 and 11 throughout the country.
"This method, used repeatedly by Ran Erez, chairman of the teachers' union, to announce a strike for Sunday at the end of Friday will not succeed. Ran Erez harms the students and does not comply with the court's decision on arbitration with the Finance Ministry."
"The Ministry of Education will do everything necessary to prevent this wild strike. There is a place for any dispute, but not at the cost of harming Israeli students."
