At Rambam Hospital in Haifa, a two-year-old toddler was pronounced dead after she ate a hard gummy candy and choked.
Channel 13 News reported that prolonged CPR was performed on her before her arrival at the hospital. She was hospitalized in intensive care for several days, and despite the doctors' efforts, her body systems finally collapsed and they had to pronounce her dead.
