IDF soldiers received a false alarm by a mobile application today ordering them to report to their bases immediately. The IDF said that the circumstances of the malfunction are being examined and will be dealt with accordingly.
A preliminary investigation shows that the malfunction was due to human error. The IDF stated that "the investigation of the incident will be completed and the relevant lessons will be drawn from it in order to prevent the recurrence of similar cases in the future."
