The Central District Attorney's Office submitted to the Central District Court an indictment against Muhammad Awadeh (22) from the PA village of Dura after he tried to murder two soldiers near the Tzrifin military camp at the beginning of the month.
According to the indictment, the terrorist left his home with the intention to stab soldiers. When the bus arrived near the Nir Zvi intersection in Beer Ya'akov, he noticed soldiers standing on the side of the road, got off the bus and started following them.
When he got close to them, Awadeh swung the knife and stabbed one of the soldiers in the upper body. Then, he struck the other in the back. He continued stabbing them until the blade of the knife broke.
The indictment states that Awadeh did not stop after stabbing the soldiers and continued to kick one of them while trying to grab his weapon. Despite being severely injured, the soldier did everything he could to fight off Awadeh and protect his weapon.
The attack came to an end when civilians in the area noticed what was going on and tied up Awade until police arrived.
