An indictment was filed against Omar Hilali, a volunteer at the Modi'in police station, for recklessness and negligence, assault and obstruction of justice.
According to the prosecutor's office, he shot and wounded a suspect who was driving a stolen vehicle without any need or justification. The indictment also states that he hit the suspect while he was bleeding, after the incident have a false description of his actions.
