Adv. Efi Neve announced that he will once again run for the presidency of the Bar Association.

He resigned as head of the Bar Association after his arrest in 2019 on suspicion of receiving sexual favors from a Rishon LeZion District Court judge in exchange for trying to get her a position on the Supreme Court. The charges were dropped as the chances of conviction were deemed to be low.

Neve was on the selection committee for Supreme Court judges and if he succeeds in regaining his position as president of the Bar Association, he will again be on the judge selection committee.
