Foreign Minister Eli Cohen departs today on an official visit to Azerbaijan during which he will meet with the country's president as well as its Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Economy.
Cohen is expected to discuss deepening Israel's strategic ties with Azerbaijan, which have been building over the past few years, as well as various regional challenges.
Accompanying Cohen will be a delegation of industry representatives.
