The Iranian Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi has urged Israel not to engage in direct conflict with Iran, but instead to work to help the Iranian people overthrow the Islamic regime.
In an interview with the Maariv newspaper, the crown prince said that, "Negotiations are not going to help with the Iranian regime. It's clear that no one wants war, including Israel. Therefore, we are left with the sole option of the Iranian people themselves. Each and every one of them is an ally of yours. There is a popular army that exists in Iran. We don't need foreign intervention to help them. The problem has existed for a long time and I am sure that many Israeli representatives know about it and have had the opportunity to discuss it directly with them."
