Senior Senator Lindsey Graham met with Israel's President Isaac Herzog after returning from a visit to Saudi Arabia.
Graham said: "I told President Herzog about the optimism I have about the changes in Saudi Arabia, and that the time to forge a new relationship is now."
Graham will hold a press conference for the Israeli media tomorrow.
