Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich visited towns near the Gaza Strip and said after a meeting with the heads of the authorities in the Strip: "We came here, to the border with Gaza, to tell the heroic residents who live in these areas unequivocally that the State of Israel is behind them, that the government of Israel is behind them and the people of Israel are behind them."
"In the coming days we will bring a very big, dramatic government decision, and this is first of all our appropriate Zionist answer to the enemies. We are taking root. The residents here are strong, happy, love the place and the settlements are developing. It warms the heart and where there are strong forces we need to strengthen even more and develop and so with God's help we will do it,'' promised Smotrich.
