The Labor Party's negotiating team is withdrawing from negotiations regarding the proposed legal reform at President Herzog's residence.

A letter sent by the team stated: "We are learning about talks being held in the dark and even about agreements between parties away from the public eye, without our involvement, which raises the fear of harming the process - as well as Israeli democracy."

"These things are not consistent with the clear positions we have demonstrated all along regarding the red lines that should not be crossed and the principled positions on which it is not possible to compromise," it added.
