Deputy Finance Minister Michal Waldiger (Religious Zionism) has expressed her grief at the passing of Leah (Lucy) Dee Hy"d.
"It is heartbreaking to hear of the news of Leah Dee's passing, may G-d avenge her," Waldiger said, invoking the traditional saying when any Jew is killed simply because he is a Jew.
"There are simply no words. The sorrow and the pain is immense. May her memory, and that of her daughters, be for a blessing."
