At least six people were killed when an anti-missile mine exploded. The device had been planted by ISIS in the Deir ez-Zor province in the northeast of the country.

This was reported by the Syrian news agency Sana, which stated that the six were gathering truffle mushrooms in the district, which was previously under the control of ISIS.

The Syrian Center for Monitoring Human Rights, an organization affiliated with the Syrian opposition based in London, noted that 137 people have already been killed this year in Syria by exploding landmines left over from the civil war.
