The Chief Rabbi of Ukraine, Rabbi Moshe Reuven Asman, congratulated and thanked Prime Minister Netanyahu for his decision to extend the provision of humanitarian aid to refugees from Ukraine, including the extension of visas and the provision of assistance in the fields of medicine and welfare.
"Prime Minister Netanyahu kept his promises from the eve of the elections when he decided to extend the provision of humanitarian aid to refugees from Ukraine," said Rabbi Asman. "His decision once again testifies to his true commitment to helping refugees from Ukraine."
Rabbi Asman called for continuing and expanding the cooperation between the countries in order to further improve the humanitarian situation of the refugees and to assist them in their acclimatization in Israel: "The aid granted is a sign of honor to the State of Israel and the Jewish people and shows the world the mutual guarantee and solidarity of all Jews in the Diaspora."
