Labor party leader MK Merav Michaeli expressed deep sorrow for the murder in the Jordan Valley, calling it "a brutal attack in the Valley. Two sisters were murdered and a woman is fighting for her life, in a heinous act of terrorism that joins the series of recent severe loss of security incidents on all fronts. I support the security forces that will stand guard and protect us from the threats that come our way. Terrorism must be fought with the utmost determination and at the same time there is and will be no escape from a political solution."
