Jordan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned "Israeli aggression" after Arabs rioted on the Temple Mount last night.
"The Israeli aggression is unacceptable and its purpose is to change the historical and legal status of Jerusalem," said Jordanian officials and demanded an emergency meeting of the Arab League. "We are taking all measures to stop the dangerous Israeli escalation that threatens the region," they added.
