The negotiating team comprised of MK Gilad Karib, MK Efrat Rayten, former Minister of Justice, Avi Nissenkorn and Dr. Tamar Hostovsky met this morning with the President of the Israel Democracy Institute, Yohanan Plesner, Dr. Amir Fox and Prof. Amichai Cohen.
It was reported that the main issues surrounding the judicial reform were discussed at the meeting "as well as the importance of standing firm on the red lines for negotiations - chief among them the independence of the Israeli justice system", it was reported.
The negotiation team will continue after the holiday to meet with protest representatives, academics and professionals.
