Tourism Minister Haim Katz agreed with the Finance Ministry that his ministry's budget for the years 2023-2024 will be 1.74 billion NIS.
This is an increase of 650 million NIS, compared to the budget that was placed before the Knesset and estimated at 1.09 billion NIS.
"The agreed budget will buy the ministry the tools it needs to continue its important work, to promote tourism and strengthen the economy. We will set measurable goals for the optimal execution and implementation of the budget. By working smart, we will bring local and foreign tourism to new achievements and records," he said.
