El Al passengers were forced to stay an extra night in Phuket, Thailand, due to a technical fault with their airplane. The passengers were transferred to hotels and the flight will depart on Monday.
El Al said, "Unfortunately, due to an ongoing technical fault, the return flight from Phuket to Tel Aviv was canceled twice in a row. All passengers were assisted at the scene by El Al's ground crews in Phuket, and transferred to hotels. El Al is making a great effort to finish repairing the fault as soon as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience caused to our customers. El Al prioritizes the safety and security of passengers and crews."
