A short while ago, IDF helicopters and fighter jets were deployed following an unidentified aircraft that seems to have crossed from the direction of Syria into Israeli territory. The aircraft was monitored by the IAF throughout the incident. The aircraft was downed in open areas and did not pose a threat at any stage. According to protocol, an alarm was not activated. The incident is under review.
