The military prosecution filed an indictment against two Palestinian Arab residents of Hebron on suspicion of possessing weapons and driving without a valid driver's license.
The incident took place when soldiers manning the the checkpoint in the Abu Sanina neighborhood of the city noticed a vehicle trying to avoid their inspection.
During the ensuing search, a gun and other weapons were seized.
