Volunteers from the Golan Rescue Unit of the Israel Police rescued a 73-year-old man from the central region from Nahal Zvitan after he fell from the top of a cliff at a height of about ten meters, while hiking along a nearby trail.

He was wounded in the head and other parts of his body and was evacuated by an IAF helicopter to Rambam Hospital while fully conscious.
