The Likud party commented on claims that Prime Minister Netanyahu and his wife were involved in coordinating the labor union strike before the announcement of the suspension of judicial reform legislation.
"Not only were Prime Minister Netanyahu and his wife Sara not involved in the strike, they strongly opposed it and made this clear to the chairman and his wife in telephone conversations after the strike broke out."
"They said that the strike is a serious mistake that harms the citizens of Israel and that it should stop immediately," Likud said.
