Former President Reuven Rivlin spoke at the "Democracy Week of the Tel Aviv Municipality" event, and expressed concern about the judicial reform proposals.
According to the report on Galei Tzahal (Army Radio), Rivlin said: "I did not sleep well at night, I was afraid that we had reached a point where we see the system in a way that would endanger the essence of the state. Israel is a Jewish state and that cannot change, but even if 120 MKs decide - the state can't help but be democratic."
