Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu met today (Wednesday) with Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister, Jeyhun Bayramov, at the Prime Minister's Office in Jerusalem.
Prime Minister Netanyahu congratulated Minister Bayramov on the opening of Azerbaijan's embassy in Israel and the appointment of his country's first ambassador to Israel. The two discussed the common regional security challenges and the threat that Iran poses to regional stability.
The Prime Minister praised the good and close bilateral relations between the countries, and they discussed the potential for expanding cooperation between Israel and Azerbaijan in a variety of fields.
