Ofer Leffler, VP of International Relations and spokesman for the Airports Authority, announced his intention to retire after ten years in the position.
During this period, Leffler led spokesmanship and publicity at the Airports Authority, including the opening of Ramon Airport, the arrival of the Presidents of the United States and hundreds of world leaders, dealing with the effects of the Corona crisis, and the increasing transit of millions of passengers at the Authority's facilities across the country as part of the "Open Skies" agreement.
Prior to this position, Leffler held other key positions in the field of advocacy: he was the spokesperson for the prison service, the spokesperson for the Turkel Commission that investigated the events of the Gaza flotilla, spokesperson for the Jewish Agency, and he held senior spokesperson positions for the IDF, the Israel Police, and the Israeli government.
