The police are preparing for the prayer on the first Friday of the month of Ramadan, which will take place today.
Jerusalem will be secured by approximately 2,000 policemen, and in addition, two reserve companies have been recruited for the purpose of reinforcing security services in the city. The forces will be present mainly in the area of the Old City, the Temple Mount, other holy places, and in the neighborhoods along the border with Judea and Samaria.
