Communications Minister Dr. Shlomo Karhi does not accept the calls to stop the legal reform legislation.

"I strongly oppose any attempt to stop the minimal legislation left for this session of Knesset," said Karhi and claimed that "such a shameful withdrawal from our commitments will lead to the intensification of the protest, to the halting of any further initiative that we would like to promote in any field, and in the end, God forbid, to the dissolution of the government and the rise of a new disaster."

''This must not be allowed to happen. I support Prime Minister Netanyahu and Justice Minister Levin in their firm stand against the perpetrators of anarchy who were not willing to talk to us in the last three months. Go with strength and give the people of Israel a good reason to celebrate Passover with real joy and freedom,'' said Karhi.
