With heated and divisive public discourse centering around the proposed legal reform, MK Moshe Solomon, with the assistance of the Forum for Civil Consent and with the participation of Yesh Atid's Moshe Tur-Paz, convened the directors of social organizations, former MKs Nir Orbach and Tehila Friedman (Blue and White) and heads of social organizations.
It was reported that "the discussion, which was designed to maintain a healthy dialogue between Knesset Members, took place in good spirits and featured a respectful dialogue, during which the participants discussed a wide variety of issues that are on the agenda in Israeli society."
Despite the crisis and lack of agreement within the group, it was reported they focused on the future of the country out of a deep commitment to the continuation of joint public service.
