Minister of National Security Itamar Ben-Gvir strongly condemned the shocking attack against Minister Avi Dichter (Likud) by someone he dubbed an "anarchist protester" who assaulted Dichter using an Israeli flag.
"This is a continuation of the crossing of all red lines and the loss of all borders in recent months. My praise goes out to the police on making the arrest. I expect them to detain all instigators and rioters," he said, adding: "This violence can lead to political murder as I already warned a few weeks ago and we must in no way accept violence of any kind."
